"Legion; Exterminatum" is the story of mankind in the distant future and its attempt to bring order to the universe through the application of a martial spirit cultivated to the extreme; to the very brink of destruction. An alien princess brings news of her own peoples’ plot to provoke the human empire to use Exterminatum-the planet killer, a weapon of unimaginable power, to destroy their age old enemies and possibly half of the universe in the process. Tinian, a captain of the Space Legion and his mentor, Magnus, believe her and race to prevent the Emperor of mankind from using the ancient secret to destroy a rival empire and the spirit of his own race. More than that, he threatens to kill the spirit of his elite, the Space Legion. Magnus and Tinian uncover the secret place where the shadow people manufacture the biogenic weapons designed to provoke the war to end all wars in the galaxy.
Their attempts to show the emperor the truth are greeted with hostility from all those in the Imperium infected by “the counselor”, a parasite that holds the power to destroy whole cultures. Tinian leads the Space Legion in a desperate battle to save the earth from an alien menace and to restore the true spirit of the Imperium.
